Prayer for Restful Sleep

“Heavenly Father, I come to you and put my sleep for this night into Your hands. I refuse any thoughts, dreams or sleep patterns that are not from the True and Living God. I cancel any plans Satan may have for this night and replace them with God’s plans for my sleep.

I refuse all fears, dreams, nightmares, insomnia, restlessness, anxiety, mental pictures or racing thoughts. I take authority over any wicked spirits who have been assigned to hinder me tonight. I bind them in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit these bonds to the Holy Spirit of the True and Living God.

I take authority over all wicked spirits in or around my house and I bind them outside the house. I put on the whole armor of God and choose to resist Satan. I claim the promise of God that as I resist Satan, he must flee.

Heavenly Father, protect me, comfort me, be close to me. Give me a restful night of sleep this night. I praise You, Lord Jesus. I exalt You. I acknowledge my allegiance to You this night. I pray all these things in the powerful name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.”
